We were over to Menards yesterday doing a little shopping. For people that use the hanging bins, they had some for $.65 with a $.65 rebate, so they were essentially FREE. Also for guys building benches, they had some white melamine bench-tops......2' deep x 1 1/2" thick x 8' long for $27. Not too bad of a price I didn't think. I also bought some plastic organizer boxes, with 18 compartments (the flat type with a snap lid) for $1.99 each, BOGO free. So all in all, if you have a Menards around and want to organize things, not too bad of deals on a few things.

I also ran across this on their site which I never saw before. You can plan out the size of your garage and lay in the cars and such. http://www.midwestmanufacturing.com/MidwestManufacturing/buildingPlanner.do One will need to look around with what they offer as far as design plans. One portion of it gives engineers drawings and quotes.

This is one of my favourite Menard's promotions. It comes up every 4 - 5 months and even though it's usually limited to 10 bins per address per promotion, it doesn't take much time to accumulate enough bins to build a nice storage setup. Probably have a couple hundred of these bins -- all free.

It looks to be them.

Kevin if this link is correct and you have the SKU or link for the other organizers, post them up and I'll move this to the Hot Deals thread.

I also picked one of these up. They weren't on sale, but it is a "bright" three LED magnetic, telescoping, flex light. When you drop that nut down into the engine compartment somewhere, the head of this light, lights up, snake flexes, and the magnet is right on the end. http://www.menards.com/main/tools-h...ghted-magnetic-pick-tool/p-1946522-c-9163.htm

Kevin thanks for the hot deal,
I went in and bought enough bins for one of my bolt/small part cabinets, 71 of them, I did 7 different transactions so I can get all but 1 for free. Best part was that I used rebates to buy them.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Menards limits the number of rebates per address. Chances are you'll only be able to do 10 of those...

The last time these came up I believe they were $.50 each before rebate. I have a rolling credit of rebate cash at menards from freebies. I use credit to purchase other free items. Repeat process. I usually have enough by the end of the year to finish another project. Not to mention all the loot they give away with these free promos. If I dont wind using or giving some of the crazy stuff like pizza cutters or AA powered engravers to my family, ill sell what I can in my yearly garage sale. The rest gets donated. Another good example of freebie stuff is the roof cement they have this week as well. $3.99 ea. Limit 24 tubes.

And yes, the rebates are all tracked. They are really tight on them. I have tested this theory by buying a few extra things in the past and they always put the max quantity per address. You can track them at them at www.rebateinternational.com. Using multiple addresses might work but im not that crazy. I know these bins will come up again so I can wait.

You are correct, But I have more than 7 addresses that I can use, and the names to go with them.

You can use fake names too, if you have to.

So you have seven homes but did seven transactions (and rebates) to save $.65 on these bins??? Awesome!

We just did all the cabinets in our place free. Menards had door knobs for $2.79 with a $2.79 rebate. Limit was 30. But we did 35 as we also have 3 different mailing address. I just got a rebate of $83.70 and my wife got a rebate of $13.95.
