Hit Menards today for propane and some safety goggles.

Ran into some un advertised specials.
Gearwrench 4pc set $12.99
Picked up SAE and Metric. Both are Taiwan

Also saw ;
Vice Grip 2 pc set
Irwin 3pc wood chisel set

These sets were all priced under $15

Also saw a 150pc Stanley mechanics starter set for $29.99

Sure there were other good deals , just didn't spend too much time wandering around.

Some of those were also BF deals at Menards, priced at $9.99 then. But let me tell you it was a verrrrryyyyy looonnnnggg line. So this is still a great deal. I got those Channellocks then and they are very nice. - Paul

Just an FYI. Those Gearwrenchs were in my areas Sunday paper Menards add. They are 12.99 with a 4 dollar rebate making them 8.99.

Exactly, but looks like those GW at least are even less now after that rebate. A super deal for sure on those if you can use them, but only a 4 piece set, so you will miss several sizes there. - Paul

They also have several snap on branded LED lights for 14.99. One snap-on flashlight that is a real turd, and two battery powered lead lights with flimsy hooks, lots of moving parts, and no magnet. I passed. They may be a good stocking stuffer for someone who likes snap-on branded tools of poor quality.

They couldn't sell them because the lines to check out were 3 miles long and not moving.
