Menards has this three piece set on clearance for $6.73, available in either blue or red. I haven't found any red sets, just blue. These are very nice and are nearly identical to the Olsa Tools/ARES/Capri Tools aluminum socket rails for significantly less money. If you're a socket rail person and have a Menards nearby, go get a few of these while you can.

***EDIT 12-21-24***
For anyone that needs additional clips for these rails, the Made in USA Craftsman clips that can be found on eBay work perfectly on these rails. They're not exactly the same, but close enough.

Side note, if anyone needs some 1/2 drive clips I'd be willing to trade a bunch of mine (13 left) for some 3/8 drive clips.

Thanks!

I saw these for the first time a couple of months ago and bought a couple just to try out.

Seems strange that they're clearancing them out so soon.

I bought a couple more sets for my spare toolbox.

I got my rails in today, they are nice, but are not 100% the same as Olsa rails if you care. The clips should be interchangeable, but if you want to use the olsa locking ends you will need to drill en extra hole in these as the slots are a little shorter. Also the very ends are not rounded as much as an Olsa rail (but that is really no impact)

Funny this was updated. I just opened a package expecting it to be the socket rails but was something else I'd ordered. Checked tracking and the rails were delivered Thursday halfway across the country from me.
So far I can tell you Menards online customer service is very lacking.

I ordered mine on 12/15. It was updated to waiting for Carrier Pickup on 12/16. It's been sitting with that status ever since.

We'll see if I actually get them.

Picked up 3 sets of these! Prefer them much more than the Ernst Socket Boss sets I have.

These rails are still nice, but it does appear there are at least 2 companies making this style of rail, with the Olsa style having a thicker center section and a narrower groove, and longer slot. The Olsa locking end caps and clips are not interchangeable with the small slot versions. (even if you drilled a hole it looks like they need the thicker center section to properly lock on.

The overall thickness and width is the same.

I picked up a couple sets of these rails. They are solid, but prone to tipping over with tall sockets in them. Bought some magnets off Amazon (which happen to fit flush with the end cap thickness) and sorted that out pretty easily - under all in $30 for six magnetic rails.
