I don't have a Menards in my area. I'm deeply enthralled by the their Made in USA Mechanic's Tool Sets though (Masterforce aka Craftsman Industrial aka Armstrong :D ). Is it still worth checking them out by purchasing products online on their website?

I am not that fussy and most of this stuff is pretty generic, Menards, Lowes HD and auto parts stores, all about the same. Having it shipped is probably easier but it isn't anything special.

I did read somewhere (believe it was ToolGuyd) that the Masterforce and Craftsman Industrial Socket's and Ratchets are virtually the same exact thing. Is it true?

Also,

Anyone here has the parts list for the 220-Piece Set?
Menards doesn't disclosed the nitty-gritty details.

Thanks

I have bought and used a few things from there, worked just fine and I like the nut drivers as good as any. I bought a set of metric wrenches and some replacement sockets, the selection is modest and I shop between there and other stores.
They are a get what I need when I need it outfit. I do like these box stores, I remember shopping back in the day and it was a real problem, now there is so much stuff under 1 rood at decent pricing.

To answer your question. Yes identical. No different except for the knurled handles on the ratchets. Wrenches are not raised panel like craftsman. But still a similar finish. Not bad tools and priced right.

I don't have a Menards in my area, either. Last Christmas, I ordered a couple of things on line. They were shipped promptly, and on arrival, they were "as advertised".

From time to time, work takes me into the midwest and I don't hesitate to visit Menards. I've always been satisfied with their tools. Even the Tool Shop brand, which is nothing but asian junk, works as you'd expect (junk)

I think all the Menard's tools are the exact same as Allen in the sense they don't have the knurled handles and raised panels. Which are the same as Craftsman...

The Masterforce stuff is the same as the USA Allen/Craftsman/Napa/K-D. Good quality for the price.
