I have had one for 6 months. I don't store tools in it just miscellaneous bolts, screws, parts, etc. Really saved on space in the garage. I have a lot of weight in a couple of the drawers that loaded with hardware and it handles it well. I have been really happy with it.

I replaced 3 of these that took up lots of wall space, for my small amount of hardware

And bought the 36 inch top and bottom, from the profit of above.

thats a fantastic idea... anyone else do this? ive though about doing it but didnt want to invest 300 in a box but im thinking its a great idea and worth it over buying organizers and building an enclosure for them. anyone try this with the 13 drawer HF box?

I have noticed that the drawers are easier to open/close on days when it's warmer. That makes me wonder how it will operate in the summer?

I didn't really care what name was on it or what the badge was made of, I was actually in the process of removing it when I noticed it looked presentable. It just seems to me that if it was cheezy-looking it might make the whole box look bad by association.

Don't mind the color at all, I might have picked it over red/black/blue or most anything else.

I might have considered the smaller box with the more efficient drawer layout, but it didn't happen to on sale at the time, and both were roughly the same price.

Also, I would have serious concerns about putting the 100 pounds on that 100 pound-rated shelf/workspace. In fact I wouldn't put my 60 pound daughter on it for a second. It IS more convienient than I originally thought, though.

FYI, Menards has the 36" on sale for $558 and the 41" on sale for $688 through 12/19.

I went with the 36" since it has full width drawers on the bottom box and has almost as much storage capacity as the 41" box.

So far I must say that I am impressed with the quality of the box. There is nothing in this price range that compares, especially when you get into details like the drawer slides, casters, and thickness of the metal.

Now I just need to find a place to fit it in the garage.

5 years so far with no complaints. Keep small silicone packets in each drawer and no rust or moisture problems yet!
Very good investment!
