If you didn't catch the ad menards has most of their treated lumber and plywood with a 9 percent rebate... good way to calm some of the high prices if you need it now.

On a side note, I purchased 1600 dollars in lumber. For some reason my debit card declined (probably a limit) so I used a credit card from another bank.

Only issue is, is reading their return policy ill be refunded a store check if I return said lumber. Not planning on it but anything can happen. You guys ever do a return/re buy for something like this? Once I get my debit card straightened out I'd like to re buy with it so I can be refunded to my bank if this project falls through

Unless you paid with multiple forms of payment, no reason to change what it was charged to aside from possible rewards on the credit card (possibly warranty extension, etc). I'm thinking you read the last line of the policy, but if you only paid with one tender, you would fall under the 2nd bullet point. https://www.menards.com/main/help-center/returns-exchanges/c-19282.htm#policy

If you file for the 9%, and then you do a return, they will deduct the 9% from the return value.

While the 9% is better than nothing, why not just start the usual 11% up? I'm sure that will be next week 😁

I only paid with a credit card, not debit

oops, i did read that backwards as it should, but you should still be fine for the return to original tender
Yeah if I return I'll just pull money back off my card so it gets returned to the card.

As for the 11 percent... lumber is rising too fast to risk 2 percent. The 6x6 timbers I need for my hunting blind have gone up 15 bucks in a week
