There was a vintage tool auction over the week-end and I acquired a few tools. I collect vintage wrenches that are interesting and either move or are original ideas. I am having trouble finding information on this one.

I got an Any Angle Wrench that is similar, but no reference to the other.

Patent number 1,101,381, made by the Adjustable Ratchet Wrench Company, marketed as "THE ANDERSON" (edit: after the last name of the inventor). He probably licensed it to others, including William A. Ives Company, which owned the "Mephisto" brand before they changed the name of the company to the Mephisto Tool Company.

Thanks Private,

I started flipping through one of the books I bought "Antique and Unusual Wrenches" by Shultz's and found the Anderson. It referenced the Pat No. 110138, without the last 1. There were close to 1000 wrenches on the auction, and many are in this book!
