i don't want to run off with unclethumbtack's thread, so, i'm letting you know that you're suggestion was the solution. i took my standard length 17-19 gw double box out to my truck and it got on there - the lack of offset does the trick. sears has the set at list price right now, but amazon has very good prices. i wonder why gw doesn't have part numbers on their wrenches. i also find that it takes a while to get used to their nomenclature - gearbox, doublebox, etc.

When I order individual replacements sometimes they have the part # on them. I'd say about 10% of the time this is the case.
