MEROSS Wifi Garage Opener - FAAC E024S fiddly bit

Hey All,

bit of a newbie but was sold the dream that this would be easy but not seeming to have much luck

Hoping you awesome people can help. Have bought https://www.meross.com/en-gc/smart-garage-door-opener/garage-door-opener-remote-control/29

The FAQ and compatibility all say it should work with my Faac E024S but i get a large beeping sound saying the opening sequence time is wrong but i have tried all of them and no luck. As it is a swing gate set up maybe it doesnt need a timer im not certain.

The gate is a FAAC E024S control board with swing motors. Link to manual is here too. Can you confirm where the wires should go and if i need to do anything with the opening sequence on app?

Depends on what logic its programmed for but if you're not looking at digging into the programming test between terminal 2 & 5 or terminal 2 & 4.

Legend thank you mate. Still get the error but it functions properly I'll have a play with the settings but it's working which is a massive win. Thanks again

I have the same Meross device but use it for a roll-up door. I recall there being something in the app settings that defines how long the "button press" is from the device. I think you can also define the closing time for your particular door so you won't get bogus "obstructed door" warnings. Overall though, it's been pretty reliable to use.

It's been pretty solid so far but can't get the error to go away but I'm not fussed. It's quicker than using the traditional remote which can be fiddly and range was terrible. Highly recommend this product
