Hi to all
This is my first of many posts. Avid collector of junk items that need TLC. Fix stuff to keep my sanity. Spotted this site when I was searching for identification for tool I found at our local recycling site. Marked up as HECO -2 X. Three foot wooden pole with a forged two piece end effector. When I learn how to use this site I will post a picture. Meanwhile I will try to not get frustrated trying to work out what it's use is.

Turner: welcome to the forum. as you find places to post your cool old tools might i suggest you visit the vintage section and make a few posts helping the current members asking about their tools too to get to know us if you can.

sounds like you have some knowledge and if you are like me sometimes i'll pick up, save or even buy a tool that i haven't a clue what it does. i'm not sure what that tool is you just posted, but it looks like something that should be used out in the yard with that wood handle.

cheers and MERRY Christmas back at you too
