That's a great idea for the funnels. After seeing that I am going to setup something similar.

I screwed an old (washed) soup can to the edge of a shelf to stand my funnels in yesterday rather than have them dripping on the shelf.

Just kidding.. I had one of those when I was a kid.. even got a stereo with a 8 track once.. did not understand why anybody would want a big click in the music..

Nice turntable, Pioneer receiver and KLH speakers! I love old vinyl, and still have most of the records I bought back in the 1970's.

I like the funnel jug, too. The litter will keep it from being top-heavy and getting knocked-over, too.

Agree. Nice old stereo components. I use older JVC. Playing the old 33-1/3 and 45's is nice once in a while. Personally, I would NEVER do that in my garage since mine is also a workshop. In other words, dirt and grit would ruin them in short order

Azcactus, I have a cinderblock garage wall as well, just wondering what you use to mount things to the wall ? like signs, shelves, etc...

Funny story: My wife used to drive school bus and on her kindergarten run one day she overheard 2 little girls talking about their weekend and one of the girls said to the other, she was at her grandmothers house and she had these huge CD's and she held up her hands to the size of an album.

Remember when Pepsi had the glass bottle look under the bottle cap contest to spell "PEPSI"? I got a cap that was good for a free album of your choosing and that's the one I wanted. My parents drove me a long way to a participating record store to get it. Good times.

I keep my funnels in a modified #10 can, which gets dumped occasionally into my oil barrel but the milk jug filter holder is a great idea.

Almost got me there. Started scrolling back up to look at what the big round thing was until I realized you were talking about the turntable.

I need to do something with funnels myself. I've read enough here now to see different systems. With my mess of a garage, a full corner of it was dedicated to old jugs laying all over the floor, some of them still opened with the funnel in it dripping into the jug. I've since cleaned the corner up gaining access to the shelf unit sitting there getting all the oil jugs onto the shelf, but I still have 2 jugs open full of used oil with funnels stored and dripping into them. That corner is now again my parking spot for the tractor.
