Got pissed at the Cubs when the scoreless streak hit 20 innings and spent an hour out in the garage. Great googly moogly, I have my work cut out for me after a long summer.
After an hour of putting things away, I estimate about 5 more to go to just call it a mess.
At least the Cubs scored while I gone....

You need a tv in the garage, and a new team. In that order.

Then again maybe all the pristine garage photos we see are all Cubbies.

I feel your pain. Hopefully your shop isn't cursed as well[emoji317]

I skimmed through most of the first 3 pages but...

Yes. Every. Single. Day.
If only there were a way to build with the mess magically disappearing.....million dollar idea[emoji6]

It's a process, fine tuning your work area as you use it, I imagine. An evolution if you will.

Then. Your family uses it as a catch all for everything when they are done with it. I'm out of the house at work for 9 hours a day and in that time they manage to fill it with every toy and piece of furniture we have.

It's my fault really for letting it get away. I've been working on it again for about 4 weekends.

^^^My two oldest are out of the house and the youngest drives. That type of mess (bikes and toys) has left my garage and have to say I miss it!

I totally understand that. I thought I had mine the I wanted it but then I worked in it for a while.Time to change it again[emoji29]. I also had dog food, chicken food, bird seed and recycling somehow make its way in. I am slowly migrating that stuff to the shed.

That's a riot that you mentioned chicken food. We have chickens as well. Two times I have come home, opened the shop door to find a pen with new chick's residing there. "oh, BTW, can my 6 new chick's live in your garage till they lose their down?"

I have a shed, but it's equally hopeless at the moment. I'm building a lean-to on the side of my shop, 11x20 to put all the yard equipment and yard toys. Then I will be able to relegate the misc to the shed.
