We have the same hammer drill at work but rarely use it. It weighs a ton and you have to hold your hand on the shift lever to keep it from popping out of gear. On the other hand, we also have a Metabo Powermaxx minin driver that we just love. It's great for electronics assembly.

New purchase.

Love it so far. I have the Bosch GCM12SD, which I might sell since I use it so little.

This covers 99% of what I would ever need, plus the laser is awesome, it saves me a lot of time lining up my cuts.

I don't why Bosch removed the laser when they imported it to the USA.



Oh, and the LiHD batteries are awesome.

It's like upgrading ALL your tools at once. Love that Metabo made it backwards compatible w/ all their current lineup!

Grabbed this at the local pawn for $40. You NEVER see these old-school orange-camouflaged Metabos in the used market, at least not around me. Came with EVERYTHING (most of which will be discarded) incl owners manual, spindle wrench and hardcase. Bearings sound great & the cord indicator still lights up.
