Metabo have moved the game on now with the introduction of 5.2ah Li-Ion capacity batteries.

Cool, I'll have to look at Metabo going forth for some of my cordless tools. Another thing I expect in the future with battery technology developing at this rate is cordless welders, which would very welcome in the maintenance field.

Hobart has one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002EP3560 I heard one awful terrible review from a coworker but i dont highly respect his welding ability. I have seen some positive reviews as well. I saw it and I already own a Maxstar 150stl so I never looked into it very deep.
