I purchased a new to me Metabo TSL-25 hammer drill to replace a craftsman that I keep having to repair. It was a good price, but when I purchased it I could not find information on Metabo's site about this model. Now that I have it, it appears that Metabo made this for DFS (Diversified Fastening Systems).
Also unknown to me was that the TSL models stands for Twist, Lock & Set which seems to by an SDS like chuck, although not SDS or SDS+. I would like to remove this chuck and replace it with a standard Jacobs. Unfortunatly there is no screw in the bottom of the chuck, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove it.
Anyone familiar with this drill or have any suggestions?
