Metal Building Interior Dividers

I have a 32’ x 85’ X 17’ red metal building. Basically has 3 sections the way the beams are configured. I live in southern AZ and the heat is pretty much unbearable in summer. To cool the entire building would cost a fortune! I was thinking if I could divide one bay where I do most of my work, I could maybe use some mini splits to cool it. The dividers would have to be mobile like on a slide or cable so I can vehicles in/out. I was thinking those hard plastic slats used for walk-in coolers. Any other ideas out there?3453C213-580A-4785-865A-C94E227A8A61.jpeg142BB121-CAF6-40A8-8DAF-868D5C79D6A8.jpeg

I have seen those plastic curtains used in the tropics as air conditioning boundaries. While not perfect, they are 1000% better than nothing.

Me too - with a local mall closing and going for demolition i was eying the surplus storefront gates roll down or accordion to be reapplied to keep a woodworking table saw zone separate from the cars depending on what i am doing.

I would look at more insulation and install insulated overhead doors instead of the coil doors. At that point it would become practical to condition the whole space.
