Hello everyone. I just had a 40x50 metal building built and am starting to work on the interior walls.
I would like someone to give me a sanity check in my plan for the inside of the building.
The vertical metal 2x2 posts for the building are 5 feet apart so my plan was to run 1x4s horizontally and screw sheets of OSB to those.
Right now, I'm only planning on going up 8ft so it should go pretty quickly.
I wanted to use those 'poly shield' insulation panels behind the osb. I was thinking i could glue them to the 'inside' of the 1x4s? That should leave enough of an air gap?
If anyone has better ideas or any advice, I'm all ears! I live in MS so the summers are pretty hot and that metal building is gonna cook!
