I was just kinda looking around today on the web for metal building kits. I priced a kit from Reeds Metals (a local dealer here). Their price wasnt that bad but I was just going to see if anyone knows or has used anyone that has a good deal with good service.

Thanks alot

Dozens of metal building manufacturers, hundreds of dealers. Best if you can find someone local, or at least not too far away, as transportation cost is a consideration. Quality of buildings varies, so shop around, ask for references to some you can go look at, study up and learn all you can before you jump into it.

All the research i have done indicates it's cheaper to do a building of that size as a pole barn or standard balloon type framing. I think it takes a slightly larger space to hit the break even point.

What research have you done? Care to share some details? There are a lot of guys here interested in this issue, including me.

I'm not interested in a metal building. IMO they have a number of problems some of which I've discovered by reading posts here:

- Poor aesthetics
- Difficult to seal
- Difficult to work with if you plan on wiring, heating and plumbing
- Limited choice of roof pitch
