Metal building shelving

Looking for some advice/ideas on building some more permanent shelving in my shop. Shop is tyipical 2"x2" tubular construction. Thanks in advance!

I would be leery of using your steel to support shelving, unless approved by the maker. Just not enough material there to depend on.

Costco sells some nice heavy duty ones. They could be anchored to the floor. I would not trust anything substantial to that frame.

Yeah, don't attach anything to the building except to brace it. You can scour Craigslist for metal shelves. Good deals come up, especially if you only need a few units.

Stuff like this.

Sears is in the process of going out of business, and to be honest lots of other retailers too. Kmart will be right behind Sears. See if you can pick up some gondola shelves used.
