metal building wall question

on a 17w 23L foot building 12' high, is there a strength advantage to running the 36" wide panels vertical vs horizontal?? it takes more to run them vertical and maybe looks better to some or not. what is your take on this? thanks.

My metal building has horizontal girts. So, the outside sheets had to be installed verticaly. To mount them horizontly, i would had to attach additional virtical girts onto the horizontal girts.
Also, with the corrigated sheets mounted horizontal, dirt will accumulate over time & look bad.

I just finished errecting it about 3 months ago. Its a 40'x60'. But it is 40x40 inclosed & 20' covered parking/ work area. I live in Hockley tx. Close to Tomball.
