Mornin' all!

It's dumping outside so I'm getting some computer time out here in the shop.

I need your opinions on metal chemical storage cabinets and drywall lifts.

1) I need to find something in a freestanding cabinet about 60" tall, 48" wide to store oil, cleaning chemicals, waxes, etc. It doesn't need to be fire rated, I just want to get stuff off the shelves and into something lockable and decent looking. I'd rather not use an old fridge. What do you guys use and where did you get it?

2) I searched the archives, and several of you have purchased lifts instead of renting. Lots of options on Ebay. What are some of the good (and bad) things to look for in a lift?

Thanks!

Scott

How about a regular old office storage cabinent? I need three or four in my shop but am having a hard time finding them used. $200-300 new and up should not hurt the budget too too bad. You could always paint them any color you want, too

We have a member from Australia who made a nice cabinet out of an old fridge also.

One thing I learned reading a post by a member who bought an Ebay lift...it worked for him, but would not have had enough reach to do the ceiling of my (yet to be built) shop. It would have required an extension that is not part of the std. model. So if you have higher walls/ceilings, check into this detail.

I bought a brand new semi fireproof (airtight but not insulated) cabinet on Ebay. 60 " high 40" wide With shipping $205. I shopped for a long time before I found it though.
