I have a chance to buy several of the metal cabinets in the pictures below. The blue ones that you can just see the edge of are already sold. The others are wall cabinets that are bolted together one on top of the other. I could probaly get them for $30 bucks a piece maybe a little less. They still have some old parts and junk in them. They have small little spots on the inside of the doors to hold small items (not really usable) and typical metal shleves on the inside. They show alot of use and have some rust and the typical dents and dings. Just not sure what they are worth or what I would really put in them? They are not very deep. I know the pics are not great. Whats everyone think?

if you get them for less then 30 bucks you scored, buy them before they are gone, if you find you dont need all of them just pop then on craigslist and double or triple you money

Well I offered the seller $25 a piece for them and I am waiting to hear back from him. Not really sure what I will put in them if I get them but I am sure I will figure out something. I will say one of them was filled with spark plugs. They where mostly used though. Not sure why someone would keep so may used spark plugs.

If you get them, DON'T throw those old plugs away just yet. Most plugs will have numbers on them. If they're old or quite unique, they definately have value. I bought a misc box of parts that had a bunch of old plugs that looked more unique. I ended up selling them to a collector for more than I paid for the whole box and got what I needed as well. You can buy small spark plug sandblasters which the vintage resto guys will use if thier plugs are hard to find.

Well there is a total of 6 wall cabinets bolted into 3 stacks and one single that was small and on its own not in the pics. I offered $25 a piece for a total of $175 and he turned me down and offered them for $225. I told him I would take them if the deal included the small single one. That works out to about $32 a piece. He is older gentleman and its getting late so I probaly wont hear back tonight but hopefully we will get the deal done tomorrow.

Shallow cabinets are a great idea..you don't stack stuff in the back. Therefore you don't have to 'Dig' for stuff....buy em !
