Since I knew I would be working solo, I started by building a safe working platform that I could roll around. I added pivoting supports with pool noodles at the top to hold the panels in place. I plan to reuse it again to rework the ceiling in my attached garage in the spring. Build it for $160 in new PT wood. The 24x40 ceiling went up fairly easy. Lessons learned along the way for sure. Prior to insulating, I built a catwalk along the entire 40’ length of attic with lots of lighting. Used R19 faced batts, but plan to blow in another R19 in the future. Managed to get the entire project done during my 9 days off over the holidays. Now I’m working on installing a 50k btu Mr. Heater.
