Metal Ceiling Install Around Attic Ladder

All,

I'm in the process of putting Pro-Rib metal panel on the ceiling of my shop. Plan is to do the ceiling first, butted right up to the wall plate. I'll follow that up by installing the OSB walls and pushing them right up to the steel ceiling panels. I'm struggling with how to install the ceiling around the attic ladder. Currently, the attic ladder is rough framed but I've not installed any trim, etc. My first thought is to trim around the opening then **** the ceiling panel up to the trim.
I'd appreciate some pictures of how you all worked around this.

That's exactly what I'd do. Trimming it out with some sort of wood creating a curb to run the metal up to. Make the curbing higher than the total height of the metal. Then you can nail some 1x material to the curb to hide the edges of the metal.
