Only time I've used a blade with teeth in a chop saw was for aluminum pipe or wood. Beyond that I can't be of much help other than to say make sure blade diameter and armor are right for the saw.

Its an abrasive saw, it uses an abrasive blade not a carbide blade. It may work but it doesn't spin fast enough going by the specs

I bought that blade and ran it in a mitre box. Speed was less than the max rpm of the blade (i think something like 3000 rpm). I got 4 to 5 cuts on steel, and blade was shot. I would not waste your money.

The speed listed is just the max speed the blade can handle. A dry cut saw runs around 1300 RPMs, a lot slower than an abrasive shop saw.

You will be happier with a lower-rpm saw, for a variety of reasons. The most inexpensive solution is probably the Northern Tool low-rpm dry cut saw (~$250) and Freud Diablo blades.
