Metal Equipto drawers

Local Restore here in Green Bay has a skid load of used Equipto steel dwaers for sale, $2 each. I bought four already and may be buying more. Just need to figure out a cabinet system for them. I may just build a plywood cabinet with 3/4" plywood shelves to just fit the drawers, and use 1/8" plywood dividers glued into grooves in the shelves to space the drawers and brace the shelves. Then apply low friction tape to the bottom of the drawers so they slide out easily.

Build it stout.
The drawers will be heavy in themselves.
And they are going to invite heavy contents.

Right and right. That's why I'd use 1/8" or 1/4" plywood vertical dividers between the drawers. I'd cut a groove into the shelf to be a tight fit to glue the dividers into the shelf itself. The dividers would also add vertical support to the shelves.
