Hey guys,

I saw a thread awhile back on here that was talking about sheetmetal sheers that direct the cut metal away from your hands. Does anyone remember what sheers those were? I want to snag them for my dad for Father's Day since it always looks like a murder scene whenever he has to cut sheetmetal

Offset snips should be what you're after. Midwest and Malco are the more favored brands. Be sure to get a left and right.

Offset is one option, upright is the other. Both come in left or right. I see that Midwest makes a straight offset too, though I'm not sure why.

Depending on your budget I have the electric HF ones, I think I paid $50 for them. I do a fair amount of sheet metal work and they have been a joy to use. I cut 18 gauge steel regularly.
