I got a metal tool tote off the mac truck for work. I am looking for some ideas on things I can make or buy for organizing my tools. I have searched the site with no luck on any pictures.

Heres my tool tote

You mean the Mac site i take it?

There are several threads here on GJ about organizing and organizers. What are some of the problems or what tools specifically are you trying to organize?

Nope, I have a mac guy that comes every tuesday for the past 25 years. I just didnt take a picture of it before I left work, so I stole a pic of the website.

I am looking for ideas on organzing wrenches, pliers, ratchets and such within the tote. On a normal job i roll my cart up to a piece of equipment and grab what I think I need and carry it up on the machine. But by the end of the job I have tools everywhere and have wasted alot of time climbing on and off the machine making trips to my roll cart.

Modern tool bags have alot of places to store individual tools but just dont hold up well to the oily condition my tools get in. I guess I am just looking for some pictures of other guys setups.

Get some magnets, get some Goop [the mighty Goop glue] and some industrial plastic bins and go to work on customizing your totes. You can glue the magnets to the tote or into individual plastic bins etc etc, you can glue bins into the tote they come in many sizes.
Do a search for 'Schaller bins', they are made for industrial use i have a bunch of em and they do in fact stand up to oil and at least some solvents.
