Hey guys, Im starting to put up the standard ag style metal web trusses that are 36'. Ive decided to build them on the ground and have a crane hoist the sections to the top. I have set all 6 trusses on top of blocks anchored to the bottom of the posts. Despite all efforts to keep my first truss plumb, I can look down it and there is prob. about a 3"-4" deflection from the peak to the end of truss. Every single one seam to do this, I was wondering if this is normal? My only problem is chalking the overhang and cutting it before I hoist could be a problem, if the trusses straighten out with above tension then it will pull the boards in, any ideas?

Posting pics;
What works for me is to post the pics to a photo hosting website such as imagr or photobucket and then copy and paste the "img" file into your post.
Good luck,

Richard
