Is it ok to exit the back of my meter/ service entrance with an LB. There is only two large knockouts on the bottom. they are used for power to the house and power in from the transformer. Now I want to run power to my detached shop and the only knockouts left to fit my buried 2 inch conduit are on the back of the panel. Can I use a threaded conduit fitting then 90degree LB out the back then strait down the pole to the conduit. Never see it this way so I want to ask before I assume

Will it affect being able to climb the pole? If the answer is yes, the PoCo may have issues with it.

LOL, when we cut over to AEP I asked the guy "You guy still climb poles?" "Hell no, bucket truck." Looking down the alley, there's maybe 2 or 3 poles out of 20 that look climbable. Here they run big 2" PVC up the sides to take house feeds underground.

Its always interesting to see pvc conduit on a pole when ugaurd looks way better and is easier to mount.
