Meter Socket ?

I just finished with my trench to get underground power to my meter socket. I need to enter the building(steel). My question is can I run the power out of the top? I purchased an adapter to run 2" PVC out and into the building. Is this OK per code? If so, could I use a short radius 90 elbow to do this. Also when going thru the wall, penetration to connect to the breaker box, is there a special fitting or grommet I can use or is PVC typical?

Thanks

4/0 4/0 2/0. My thinking, if it's per code, is to go out the top using a sweeping elbow into the shop. This would be easier to deal with than an LB. Thanks for the response.

Sounds more logical than my house service where my 150A service goes out the back of one meter+breaker combo box on the outside of the house into a 2" PVC through the block wall into an LB and up 6" into an interior breaker box for the house.

Why aren't you going out the back?

I didn't want to have to bend that 4/0 wire so many times running it through the conduit then the meter socket and then into the building and up and over in the breaker box. The way I have it planned it would just make a loop from the socket meter to the breaker box. :dunno:

Do you have a underground service meter? If so the service usually comes in on the left side of the bottom of meter can, then depending on where your panel is you would either come out the the back of the meter can or bottom right with a lb into the building or if your going with service entrance cable you just run that wire exsposed to your panel.
