Method/tool for cleaning rust from inside corners

I'm replacing a bunch of front end components on my plow truck. Last night when I was down there, I noticed my bump stop horn on the driver's side was pretty rusted and a bit mangled. I made some support plates so I can weld them in on Saturday. Figured I'd prep the area and clean the existing steel of rust so it would be ready to go for me.

I have a few metal brushes that go on the end of my drill, but none of them would get into the inside corners worth a damn. Thought about this as I was scrolling the forum and decided to ask what everybody is using to get into tight corners to clean surfaces. I know I'm probably going to be fine for welding as I've scraped the areas I couldn't get with a screwdriver/file/deburr bit. I feel like there has to be a company that makes something specifically for this and I just haven't came across it yet.

Well... I have a "detail" sander whose sanding pad is in the shape of a triangle. It lets me get into corners rather well. I live within spitting distance to the ocean... so, I deal with rust all the time. Agressive grit sandpaper is a NO... use a finer grit to get only the rust. I actually have several detail sanders. My favorite is my Fein Multimaster with a specialty attachment. It goes to a finer point.

Needle scaler or real small diameter wire end brushes.

Love all of these replies. I see some smaller brushes online that might work but wanted to see what everyone else uses. A lot of my inside corners are smaller than a multi tool triangle bit but I'll definitely going to have to look into smaller brush bits.

If it's not something that needs to be pretty a broken 1/8 drill bit works great. And everyone probably has some on hand.

Cone shaped wire brush that comes to a point. They type you can chuck in a drill or die grinder body.

Or possibly an abrasive sanding cone.

I would just take a blow gun and some fuel line and make a quick media blaster and sand blast it.
