Yeah, those have been around for a few years. They're the "quick adjust" - they've got them in SAE, too.

They're actually a pretty fantastic wrench, for what they are. They're grooved so you can quickly/easily pre-set them to a particular size, and they're pretty accurate.

I only bought them because there was a huge Amazon sale on them a while back, but I actually like them, as far as adjustables go. Handles are great.

I worked with a guy, who was not the sharpest tool in the shed, and was using a Caftsman adjustable wrench on a project. The wrench says 12 inches on one side and 300mm on the other. He laid it down with the 300mm showing and someone saw it and told him that he couldn't use his metric wrench on any of our equipment. He took it back to Sears to find one that was English/American only. I never did Hear what the outcome was.

Someone shoot that copywriter. On second thought, send him over to write jokes for Leno's monologue. This is about as funny as most of his material:

* Irwin 2078607 10-inch Metric Quick-Adjusting Wrench
* 1-1/4-inch maximum width

Snap on makes one with inch marks on one side and mm on the other side.

All these years I've used my old Crescent wrenches for metric bolts. I didn't know I needed anything else for metric bolts other than a Crescent wrench and a Vise Grip.

Now I suppose I need to buy new metric adjustable wrenches. :lol_hitti
