I have Sunex (flare nut) and Tekton (regular) metric crowfoot.

I have an NOS Facom era SK (flare nut) set and Snap-on (regular) SAE crowfoot up to 1 5/8”.

On top of this, I have some onesie twosie single flare nut wrenches of all different sizes. For no reason, I replaced the off-brand flare nut wrenches in my serpentine belt kit with USA SK and Snap-on.

I, honestly, have way more money in the Sunex and Tekton metric sets than all of the used Snap-on and NOS SK.

If I find used USA metric sets, I will move the imported sets to my cart… if I find enough for my main box and my cart… I will move the imports to my give away/donate drawer.

My goal with my tools is to slowly replace everything imported with USA… if possible Snap-on… and if possible for less than Harbor Freight prices… I rarely go to estate sales anymore, though. I mostly go when I am with my wife, and she is stopping at one.

When I picked up a set I bought the sunex metric flares 10-19. I returned them when I noticed there was no detents and the smaller sizes were quite large. I picked up the crecent tools flares, which have smaller small sizes and detents as well as chamfered and a nice rail. TBH haven't used them yet, but I don't expect them to be snap-on quality being made by Apex, but they have a few nicer features than the sunex
