Just for the fun of it I decided to start an all US made long wrench set with each wrench made by a different manufacturer. Not so easy when many brands are unavailable over here. So far I have Armstrong 10mm, Bonney 11mm, Matco 13mm,Mac 17mm, Williams 22mm and SK 24m. I can get Snap On easily here as the truck comes to the farm weekly. Any suggestions on other manufacturers to fill the gaps. I was hoping Wright may be one but am I right in thinking they only do mid size wrenches? And why are Cornwell so much more pricey and hard to find used ?. Am happy to go vintage but not sure which of the older manufacturers,apart from Proto did metric back then.

Cornwell is hard to purchase in state too. you don't see a truck anymore far as in my case.
I liked their wrench shape (like MAC tools), thicker beam than others, but comfortable.

Try the new german made Hazet combination spanners. Also the beloved Snap-On hi-performance long wrenches.

The following are or were USA made at one point - Blackhawk, Stanley, Easco, Husky, Craftsman, KD, Allen, Kal, Thorsen, Napa, Billings, New Britain, Blue Line, Crescent, Kraeuter, Walden-Worcester, Champion, Diamond, Duro and Indestro, Herbrand, Owatonna, Plomb, Utica, Vlecheck, Klein, Lectrolite, Challenger, and ? Now its up to you to determine whether or not they made long pattern metric wrenches lol. Good luck!
