Thanks guys! The Gearwrench seems like a steal for $50..the warranty would be at sears like craftsman right?

I don't know if Sears will warranty GW stuff if they don't have it in stock. People who warranty GW tools through Sears are pretty much always warrantying ratcheting wrenches, which Sears keeps in stock individually.

You'd probably have to call Apex. If you search the forum, you'll see a mix of good/bad experiences doing that.

If the stores do not, they call call it in. And if sears stocks it. They will ship the new one to your house. When I brought my craftsman pro in, someone was warranting a GW ratchet wrench that they did not have in stock. The sears guy called it in and got the info over to their warehouse or warranty department and took care of it.

But I like the sears I go to, they are really helpful.

I would avoid those like the plague the taiwan made williams are horrible look a for supercombo set
Is it only the Taiwan made you recommend to avoid? I have a set of Williams that are great IMO.
