Is it going to hold up to shop fluids like ATF and stuff?
Prolly not, but for $2 , you can change the grip easily every month.
I tried today at my work place , got some coolant spilled on it, I whip its away with alcohol , and its went back to dry fluffy condition. I think this grip is design for sweat from human.

I've actually considered using a Houge slip on pistrol grip...If I reacll they cost about $10 a piece, but would probably hold up pretty well...Great idea OP....
The hogues are a definite win. Especially on a high vibration tool. Soak them in hot water prior to installation. They are not fun to wrestle over the handle, even when warmed up, but once it's done, it's over with.
Mine have seen half a year in the shop, and thus far are showing no adverse reaction to the multitude of oils, greases, and solvents they have come in contact with.

Kinze that is awesome, I posted a thread on here forever ago asking if anyone knew part numbers for hogue grips that would fit a impact. Do you mind sharing which one you purchased? Ever since I borrowed someones 2131 that comes with a hogue grip I wanted one.

I don't remember which size went on which one. For $6/ea, I'd just get both and stick with the one that fits better.
I think I could have wrestled the small one onto either tool, and had the snuggest fit, but I can't say either have ever felt loose.
The tennis grips look neat too. For $2/ea, I may put one on every pistol grip power tool I have, and maybe even try one on a hammer handle or two. I've been wondering about something on a hammer for a while now anyway. I think it would be great for a common grip, but sometimes depending on the angle needed, or what your hammering, it's appropriate to choke up on the handle. It might be in the way in one of those instances.
