i have an mg725. and i recently noticed that when im connected to an air line. theres air comming out from the exhaust. is it normal?. maybe to much air in the line? sign of a gasket going out?

here is what I got
No, not normal-
Sounds like a leakage problem between the tip valve and the valve seat-
There are multiple interacts between these two parts that could cause this; best bet is replace both the tip valve and valve seat-
(it is possible the valve seat is fine, but is not properly seated too)

I had the same problem, the problem was resolved by pulling out the trigger after each use. However this should not be a issue that needs to be dealt with.
Spoke to my Snap On dealer and he said the impact needed to sent out for repair (Las Vegas). The fix was having the impact rebuilt and replacing the trigger mechanism. The best part is it was covered by the warranty
I had to use my Mac Tools AW434M in the meantime.
The MG725 has been working fine ever since.
My suggestion is to find out if it is covered under warranty and send it in. Even it is not covered, you will know specifically what is wrong and you can order the parts yourself and repair for a minimal cost.

if it is less than 2 years old send it in and let them tear it down and rebuild it ....
ya its still under warrenty. i work at 2 garages. and i noticed at one. theres more air that comes out then the other. i mean it works fine and all. a co worker made me notice it was leaking air fromt he exhaust. ill have to talk to my dealer bout it. oh. ya well at one garage. i just started working there a few weeks ago. and found a bottle of air tool oil. so i put some in. and it puffed out white form the exhaust like a blown head gasket would. and there was fluid coming out from the trigger. exhaust. intake. forward/reverse. so i let it run and it stopped any way it still works. turned out that they put power steering fluid in there guns. so i was thinking maybe that could of been a cause?.
