Old news to most of the regulars here but Snap-On seems to revised the MG725 last year. Changes were made to the anvil and the reverse knob assembly. No idea what was done to the anvil assembly (beefed up dogs?) but the reverse knob change is something that should of been addressed way back in testing however here we are roughly 9 years later and you can finally turn the forward power levels up and down without the aid of a torx bit and/or pliers and cursing! Exciting stuff. Oddly they didn't bother to institute an A or anything after the model to signify a change as they've done in the past.
Anyway I know this forums members mostly favor IR however anyone still with an MG725 and likes it enough can upgrade their reverse knob assembly for $43 using part number MG725-RVUKR (change letter on the end for O-range, G-reen colors).
Hopefully the MG325 isn't far behind.
