MH lighting question

I'm looking to use this low bay fixture for my garage and my qusetion is does anyone know if this type of unit puts out any substantial heat ? Specifically downward, as they might be rather close to the overhead door when it is in the up position.

I have virtually the same model fixtures. No appreciable heat output. I've been up underneath them when they're on.

You might want to check out Ebay. There are a variety of new and used MH fixtures much less expensive that what Grainger offers.
