Got the grinding done on the floor. Ordered the Nohr-S kit in tan, with the #3 flake mix. Was thinking about maybe doing a few pounds of either gold or bronze mica metallic chips mixed in, just to add a little “character”. Would it just look silly? Thoughts?

Is it harder to mess with (scrape)? More “protrusion” of the chips? Was planning on doing just a “light” application of flakes (including the mica), so didn’t know if it would be more trouble than it’s worth.

The Nohr-S kit only has enough clear for one coat, so didn’t want to lay something down that is hard to cover/requires 2 clear coats. This is for the floor of my cabin, so will NOT be seeing vehicle traffic/etc.

Mac, it could be done, I might opt for a smaller flake size in mica.
The overwhelming effect will be the base-flakes themselves, I don't think you will see a major effect from the mica.
