Been looking through these posts at some amazing builds that seem like they go up over night going to try my hand at posting my build looking to get back into building bikes /cars and resurrect a sandblasting-powdercoating operation I had going before I moved here been slow going but here's the progress

Looking forward to seeing your progress. I get in your area a few times a year. I work for Herman Miller. In 2001 I took a Blacksmithing class at Tillers in Kalamazoo. I like the area.

Did you take the ferry across ?I've always wanted to try that I'm hoping to have the roof sheeting up this weekend and start shopping some doors it's a 24x48 14 foot walls for some future hoist plans going to be radiant heat floor probably small hanging unit for quick heat ups ..have many projects waiting on this to get done including a softail that resides in my dining room right now..a t bucket that I have 60 percent of the parts for 86 elcamino repairs to a 2002 silverado and 99 suburban two minibikes an allis chalmers b

Was hoping to just metal up and have this thing done already but city codes here require roofing and siding match the house so I'm doing shingled and vinyl lap ... Kicking and screaming:dunno:

The idea was to get it shelled in last year so I jumped on it in October it snow I figured It would melt some time it's Michigan right ? Indian summer maybe .... So June I got started again

Wrestled the poles back into position enuf to bolt up some top plates some friends showed to help with some trusses and it's on!

I have been driving through Chicago as I have a few places I like to stop at. One is Goose Island brewery. They have great food there. I am considering using the Ferry out of Milwaukee on the next trip.

We have a cabin up in Harrison ... It's taken four days of getting rained out but overhangs are done and roof is ready for sheeting with any luck today that'll be started after work

First time using the synthetic felt Owens Corning deck defense in this case on sale for 99 bucks at menards a bargain at twice the price this stuff is awesome
