Good morning.

I have read the Journal off and on over the years and have never felt I had anything to add or time to add anything if I did.

I often find myself busy with other things, but as of late I have been trying to get back to the simpler things that used to make me happy.

Repairing old machines.

Welcome to GJ, rM03. Hope we can make you feel at home. Relax a little until we give you all the ideas of what you could be doing.

Lots on here are into vintage power tools. What kind of old machines have you hooked?

(We love pix, too.)

I grew up in an early industry environment.
My family went from farming to manufacturing after WWII, so my interests span from old farm machines to lathes, mills, and saws powered by steam, diesel, through modern improvements on old ideas.
I have yet to see any real improvements on the best of old machines, but there have been improvements to tooling and the power supply.
I have not been too handy with my camera lately.
Kids and grandchildren make it hard to keep track of cameras, and I often discover that the only reason why a camera is ever returned to the place where it is found is because the camera has become outdated and is no longer desirable.
