I got this set today from Amazon and I am very impressed. I like the handles as they are not tiny like my other micro screw drivers and are very well made.

The Pico line of handles are dual-compound (hard and soft). The older line is all hard plastic. The shape is different, too. The blades are unchanged.

The Pico handles are more comfortable and less slippery. But none of these are made for holding in your closed hand and applying high torque. They're all really for spinning and low torque use.

Didn't check date so no idea if I'm resusitating an old thread... I've always wondered about the difference between the Picofinish and normal precision drivers, never really managed to find out, assumed they were one and the same... have ordered the technician set from Amazon US last week... and now I find out that there is a difference and what it is!

Meh, it was still cheaper to ship it from the US to NZ than the buy the separate sets here in the UK or NZ for that matter, I'll live with it.

I know this is going to get a laugh, but seriously, I have a set w/case that I bought at the "Dollar Tree" dollar store. I've used it quite often over the last few years and I've never broken or rounded one off yet. I planned for, and assumed there would be breakage so I bought 2 sets right from the start. So far the second set is still sealed! I have a number of high dollar tools in my toolbox, but this little set is probably my best bang for the "buck" tool purchase that I've made to date!
