Has anybody ever bought anything from them? Their prices are so low... usually $15 to $30 cheaper than Chads on items $50 and more. This is just on Wiha.

Has anybody had any experience with them? Im tempted to spend my Christmas money on my first real screwdrivers. WIHA!

I have thought so hard over softfinish or Microfinish and I think microfinish is for me. Its uber durable, so I hear. And it just looks flat out bitchin.

I think you ar talking about the site with a german and american front.

A lot of people on camera repair forums talk about them as a sources for parts and stuff. Been around for a while but I have not bought from them before.

I've bought some Wiha stuff from them (via Amazon). Everything showed up quickly and in good shape. They even threw in a couple of mints with one of them. I would recommend them.

5toes;

Thanks for inquiring about us (Micro-Tools). In regards to Wiha, we have been selling their tools for over 20 years and are their 4th largest dealer by volume of sales and largest dealer by SKU's stocked here in the USA.

As far as items not being in stock, we place replenishment orders with Wiha every day of the week but they will only ship once a week. If they ship by UPS we get our deliveries on Fridays and if the ship via common carrier we get those shipments on Mondays. Out of the 170 or so vendors we deal with, Wiha usually has the least amount of back orders of any of them. They do make a good tool along with backing them with a lifetime warranty.

So if I place my order today or whenever, you will wait until all the Wiha gets in stock then ship it all at once? Sounds good.

I need a special order item too.

That is correct :thumbup:, special orders placed with us prior to Thursday morning are shipped the following Monday to us and we get them in 4-5 days. Wiha offers around 4000 different items and we stock just over 2,000 of them and offer the other 2,000 via special order.

As long as you place your order by Thursday Morning they will ship it to us the following Monday and we will have it in 4-5 business days after that. Depending on what day you place your order for a special order item, we will have it ready to ship to you in 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 weeks.
