Mid-State Trouble Light

I was looking for an old style USA made trouble light as an alternative to the cheap import ones from the chain stores and came across Mid-State Manufacturing. http://www.mid-statemfg.com/

Their old style caged trouble lights are exactly what I was looking for (particularly model SJ 256) but could not find a single place online that carries them. Oreilly Autoparts used to have stock but not anymore and will not order more. Same is true of some other online places. I called Mid-State but they will not sell to me directly and could only recommend one possibility in the northeast.

Does anyone have one of Mid-State's trouble lamps and if so can they comment on the quality? In addition does anyone know where I can get one?

I, too, have been keeping an eye out for a quality USA drop light. Couldn't find any. I've had to scrounge and restore ones from estate sales.

Thanks but no luck. Oreilly said they do not have any stock and can not special order it. There is at least two other online stores that have them or similar listed as out of stock.
