I got this curiosity a week ago and I can find exactly zero information on it. I'm hoping some of the more knowledgeable collectors can help me out. I picked this up at the local flea market for 25$. It works but the drill itself has nasty wiring "fixes" inside. Besides not being able to find any info on this I can't seem to work out how to remove it from the drill. I'd like to mount it to an old worm gear driven drill I've got. The last question i have is when it's running the saw blade reciprocates but also the whole attachment spins 360 deg. When it's running the spin of the drill wants to rotate the attachment as it's reciprocating. You have to hold onto to it fairly well or it'll spin out of your hand. Is it supposed to operate like that ( so you have more options for cutting) or is there a missing piece that would hold it from rotating? Thanks for any information!

I've been going mad trying to find ANY info on this. I finally ran across this in a 1951 Popular Mechanics. I'm thinking it was probably one of those " patent pending tools" that never caught on?
