If anyone is looking for some all purpose snips I highly recommend the MidWest Precision Utility Snips. For $15 bucks these things are great. Rock solid, sharp, and versatile. More useful than aviation snips and more rugged then scissors. I picked them up a while back and wanted to spread the word.

Those little snips are great! I've used them to cut screen wire, light gauge sheet metal, wire, cable ties and even pruning shrubs and small limbs. Small enough to fit in a back pocket while mowing! They used to call them Nifty Cuts on the package.
