I bought a spool, 11lb, from Tooltopia for 24$. Firepower brand.

I had bought another spool earlier off ebay (Indy oxygen co.) for about 25$ IIRC. Harris brand.

It's funny - Harbor Freight has 2lb spools for about $10. My local welding supplier has them for about $5. I found that out by accident.

25-38 here in Canada depending on brand for the 11#ers.
....but we pay more for EVERYTHING!

I bought mine at TSC, take your pick. It might be a bit more expensive but they are local and I can drive right there and get it. I don't have to drive an extra 5 miles to go to OE Meyer to find they don't have what I need.

52 bucks for a 44 pound spool but then it's 48 more bucks for shipping

I've been getting the 33lb spools from Torchking on ebay. Comes to $59.25 w shipping, so about $1.79lb. Wire is (or has been for the last three spools) Techniweld, which is made in China. I haven't had any problems (shrug). I can't justify the cost of L56 for what I do.

Last I checked LWS was about the same price but they provide me such poor service I have no incentive to shop with them. Even if price is the same this way the wire comes right to my door, so no extra trip or time to get my wire. And the local politicians don't get my tax dollars to put random flower pots on Main St or pay police to arrest people for drinking while floating down the river.

just bought one yesturday from lowes,flux core was 60 for a ten pound,bitched and complained about how they were robbing me and got it for 45 and change out the door.
