Not much has changed on the Mustang or the garage. I have been tinkering with the Mustang on & off. I cleaned all the old weatherstripping from the retainers that are screwed to the door opening & installed them then I installed all 4 windows. I finally got the fuel lines run from the tank to the carb & I am almost ready to try to start it up. I got all the F/E sheet metal lined up & installed the hood pins. I did find a minor problem with the l/s fender. At the front of the fender where the headlight extension bolts to it rubs the hood. It looks like the fender is slightly bent so no matter how I adjust the fender it doesn't fit right. If I adjust the fender so it does not hit the hood the gap is too large farther back. I will probably have to drill some spot welds to massage the metal & reweld it to fit properly. If you look at the second pic I posted there is a kink in the inside edge of the fender. The other side fender is not like that. I will have to fix that before I proceed. On another project I bought an inexpensive spray gun to try to paint some of the small parts for the Mustang. Ahead of doing that I built a small parts paint rack out of leftover 2x4's I had in my woodworking shop.
